Fountain Wall Skimmers

Berkey Fountain Kits offer three different return devices or "skimmers". Skimmers “skim” water and debris from the surface of the fountain which is then returned to Filtrific Filtered Pump Vault for filtration and to be re-pumped back to the fountain.

Filtrific S5 In Wall Skimmer

The S5 In-wall Skimmer is designed for use with fountains where the water level is above the elevation of the Filtered Pump Vault's Intake Port. The Wall skimmer is designed to be placed in a 8'' or wider concrete wall and includes a removable faceplate

Filtrific S6 In-Wall Skimmer

The Filtrific S6 In-Wall Skimmer is designed to be used in installations where the fountain edge is at the same height as the Filtered Pump Vault. The S6 is designed to be placed in a 8” or wider cement wall and provides a removable faceplate.

Filtrific SFC-4 Riser Skimmer Flow-Cap

For use in fountain installations where skimmer placement within the fountain sidewall is not possible or a vertical pipe return is deride.

Bottom-Draw

By installing a bottom draw on a fountain, debris is pulled from the bottom of the water feature in conjunction with the surface, ultimately resulting in a cleaner water feature.

  • Large Flows

    The adjustable height design allows the intake to accommodate large or small flows


    Pipe Connection

    Secures to the end of a 4” bottom draw pipe

  • Water is drawn from the bottom of the pond to replace the water being pumped out of the Filtered Pump Vault. Submerged debris is then collected in a Filtered Pump Vault's Filter Basket or Remote Filter Skimmer Basket.

Discharge Devices

As an optional accessory to a Berkey Fountain System, the Jet Flow Cap can either provide an underwater bubble effect or a surface spray effect.

  • Side Jetting Action

    The Jet Flow Cap sweeps submerged debris to a surface skimmer or a bottom draw skimmer.

    Note: Use with a spring check valve to prevent water from siphoning back into the Filtered Pump Vault if the circulation pump is turned off.
